Walt disney a life in films snow white summary

 In Walt Disney: A life in Films, Mel Giedroyc explores how Disney stepped into producing feature length animations through Snow White. It also highlights how Walt Disney was seen as reckless and stupid for attempting to make Snow White with many in the industry denouncing it, sure that it would fail and bankrupt Disney calling it ' Disney's folly'. The episode tells the story of Walt Disney wanting to move animation past shorts he ignored critics investing heavily advancing animation through the use of techniques such as multiplane camera to add depth to scenes. The film became a blockbuster validating Disney giving way for animations future in cinema.
