Film industry

 The American film industry, sometimes abbreviated to Hollywood, is the most important in the world's film production. Hollywood is the Centre of film production and hosts major studios.

Traditionally the industry has been referred to as being dominated by the big 5 studios- although this is more complicated now than before. It was the big 6 for many years.
