For the assessment I was able to include other products and reference specific animal crossing moments well. However, I need to improve on including specific examples of what I'm describing like the viewership for GTA videos and how they influence productions.
How to plan in media:
-Explain how ongoing audience interaction influences video game production.
-Nintendo have made a game with a low rating PEGI 3 because it enables a much wider audience.

-People watch YouTube videos about the game
Plan for another question
-The impact of digitally convergent media is that it allows for multiple media sources to be accessed from the same platform. This will make companies such want to allow their products to be sold for multiple platforms so that games are not exclusive to a console. This means when it is distributed it will be able to be purchased a lot easier and will increase the customer base as people will not have a barrier to buy and will make more people to give it a try and potentially getting hooked and want to play it more.
- Nintendo has this on the switch with Netflix being downloadable allowing tv shows and films to be watched from the device. This means people wanting to play games such as Mario but also want to watch shows are more likely to buy the switch.

Ongoing audience interaction influences the production of games as it tells companies what consumers want. For example, after the release of Player's unknown battlegrounds the demand for games in the battle royal genre was exponential with people creating content playing the game gathering hundreds of thousands of views. Seeing this Epic games created Fortnite battle royale that blew up over night sky rocketing to the top of the gaming world.
