 In Walt Disney: A life in Films, Mel Giedroyc explores how Disney stepped into producing feature length animations through Snow White. It also highlights how Walt Disney was seen as reckless and stupid for attempting to make Snow White with many in the industry denouncing it, sure that it would fail and bankrupt Disney calling it ' Disney's folly'.
