Butler's theory is also present in Lupin through Juliet Pellegrini as she walks down the stairs at the auction as it is filmed to highlight her gender roles drawing attention to her with things like a glamourous outfit.

David Guantlett- media messages are used by the audience to think through their identities and way of expressing themselves

ST- the characters in stranger things progressing from the long form tv drama
